Review of Charles Koch's "The Science of Success" in The Business

I have an article in todays The Business magazine about the stunning success of Koch Industries, Inc. and the book Charles Koch has written explaining how the ideas underpinning classical liberal politics and economics made it happen.

Speak with anyone (even ideologically committed extreme libertarians) who works for Koch, and they'll tell you that market-based management is crazy and dumb.

speak for yourself...I'm a Koch employee and I believe that Mr. Koch's MBM is working and working well

Never have I felt more connected and fulfilled in a role and to a company before coming to Koch/INVISTA. Employees are asked to act as entrepreneurs and create value by improving process' and challenging the status quo. I couldn't ask for anything more from an organization.

I work for Georgia-Pacific, a Koch company, I and I firmly belief that Market Based Management is turning this place around for the better. The MBM culture is the only kind of culture I want to work in and I know many other fellow GP employees who would tell you the same thing.
