Scientologists are crazy

John Travolta "encouraged his fans to "do their bit" to tackle global warming". So far, so utterly ordinary.

Does doing so mean cutting down on flying or other consumption perhaps?

Travolta doesn't want to throw rocks in a glasshouse. He "owns five [jets], along with his own private runway."

So what is his plan for how we might avoid climate catastrophe?

Apparently "we need to think about other planets and dome cities". Brilliant.

You know full well that the domed cities comment was hyperbole. The point was that people should take global warming seriously.

Insofar as the planes go, it seems a pretty low-brow jab at a celeb. (And of course, when they're Scientologists it's ok to call them crazy over every little thing.)

What I want to know is when are we going to have a colony on the moon, like we were promised all those years ago?
