There are many more effective ways of managing that than venting your spleen all the time.Kenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17504799243070576500noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159432141572037512006-09-28T09:29:00.000+01:002006-09-28T09:29:00.000+01:00Er, fine, except Becker-Posner is so unreadably du...Er, fine, except Becker-Posner is so unreadably dull and ill-written that had to have a lie down after just two sentences. Isn't it at least conceivable that the BBC in particular had a part to play in the dissemination of the Pope's "offence to Islam"? It's not for nothing they translate into Arabic, Farsi, Somali, etc etc, is it?ed thomashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04577519219876759633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159386833260680902006-09-27T20:53:00.000+01:002006-09-27T20:53:00.000+01:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.dizzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04250325010662356883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159386652018535552006-09-27T20:50:00.000+01:002006-09-27T20:50:00.000+01:00hmm I wonder what my blog would be considered as (...hmm I wonder what my blog would be considered as (apart from boring of course)dizzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04250325010662356883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159385842545570642006-09-27T20:37:00.000+01:002006-09-27T20:37:00.000+01:00I think that the EU Referendum blog contains mater...I think that the EU Referendum blog contains material which might be regarded as investigative, analytical and "rapid reaction".

Along with Guido, Iain Dale and ConservativeHome, EU Referendum is a must-read-several-times-a-day blog; to its credit, I have not found such consistently quality output anywhere else.

But I agree that it doesn't help to win frinds and influence people by being quite so tetchy about so many of the supposed comrades...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159385139308962192006-09-27T20:25:00.000+01:002006-09-27T20:25:00.000+01:00Thank you for this informative article. Blogs are less important because of their direct effects on politics than their indirect ones - they influence important actors within mainstream media who in turn frame issues for a wider public. Blogs are therefore becoming ever more important in politics and to politicians, and are likely to remain so.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21959228.post-1159380773190014682006-09-27T19:12:00.000+01:002006-09-27T19:12:00.000+01:00I think conservativehome.com isn't such a good exa...I think conservativehome.com isn't such a good example- because it's analysis ect is also very good-it's a bit of a protean blog

good post thoughAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
